Michael Willis | Executive Director

Michael is a seasoned nonprofit executive passionate about driving social change in his local communities and abroad. His nonprofit journey began as a student at Illinois State University where he became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma. He also joined several other social organizations to advocate supporting the youth where he organizes campaigns raising awareness for issues related to youth education, mental health, clothing items and nutrition.

Michael currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Chi Assistant Support Team Incorporated (Illinois) (CAST Inc.) He directed operations, including member engagement, recruitment, promoting, and education.

Before her career in the nonprofit sector, Michael spent 20 plus years in the law enforcement field as Officer and became the President of its Union. Michaels holds a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science from Illinois State University and has received numerous awards and accolades from his profession, fraternity and his community for community service to then Chicago communities.
